What is SCS?

SCS stands for Super Composite Skin, which is a special coating or layer applied to the surface of closed cell neoprene. The micelle structure of the rubber surface repels water when in contact with air and reduces surface resistance when in contact with water. This unique material has a coefficient of surface resistance that is significantly lower than conventional smoothskin, providing numerous advantages in marine suits.
